    Heat Exchanger Thermal Design Methodology

    Dear friends*
    I have
    1. Applied Process Desging for Chemical Plants book* by Ernest E. Ludwig
    2. Process Heat Transfer by Donald Q. Kern

Also* red every article and download almost every spreadsheet for HE Therma Design.
However* it is a little difficult for me to establish proper methodology for HE thermal design* because* somhow* formulas for e.g. Nu are different from author to author.
    My questions are:
    1. Which standar covers methodology (step by step)

    2. Do you have any suggestio about methodolgy* because I am goind to do application about this.
    Appreciate any help
    Regards
